What’s your next adventure?

Next stop at NYC please. - weheartit.com

So there is hope after all. As I’m heading close to the end of my undergraduate career at University of Waterloo, I’ve been scrounging through career sites, Jobmine, our online career site trying to look for the next adventure I’m about to embark on. If you’re a Waterloo student, it comes as no surprise that there is a serious lack of job postings once you’re looking for full time. Jobmine has done me well over the past few years, but as a warning to co-op students, don’t be spoiled by the numerous postings when you’re still a student. Make sure you make the most of your co-op terms, establish a network, nurture those connections so that you have that many more options when you’re done school.

Thanks to a special friend who’s passed over a couple of websites to me – I wanted to share this with everyone out there as well who is out on the hunt.

Startupers – A basic site that allows you to post your resume, browse postings for those that are more geared towards startups. I’ve even seen postings from someone who’s looking for a co-founder with specific skills.

Startup Hire – Job site featuring startups in the States.

Simply Hired – Features Canadian jobs in an array of professional industries.

Mashable Article – Great comprehensive list of 18 sites promoting startup jobs from Mashable

Are there any other sites that you have found useful? Feel free to share in the comments!

All the best!
