I hate my blog.
There. I said it. I feel better already.
For a while now, I’ve been having trouble getting myself to blog freely even though I have all these random thoughts going through my head, all these different opinions and cool techy/geeky events I wanted to share, but felt constrained by my strong dislike for my blog. It’s not doing what I want it to do and it sure does not look like how I want it to look. This is where I wish I could go back in time and have paid more attention in CS 100.
There’s no point in whining and complaining about it. Time to get off my butt to clean up my online brand. If you’ve been following my blog at all, you may have noticed all the different appearances/themes in the last little bit. I apologize for the mess. Will clear it up as soon as I can.
Currently testing out other venues. WordPress has been okay, but feel very limited by the themes that are out there and accessible. Tried the Tumblr bit as well, but didn’t take off very well. Probably didn’t invest enough time into it as I needed. Just like Twitter, I really need something that can capture all my random moments when I’m out and feel the sudden urge to share something cool that I just saw or thought about. Posterous is looking like a likely candidate that may fit my needs.. gotta give these guys a try.
Also, I’m definitely not blogging enough. I wish there was some crazy contraption you could attach to your brain where you could literally “upload” information online and it being an automatic process. Imagine how much faster the transfer of knowledge could be. It would be taking the concept of “live” and making it … I don’t even know the word for it, but something faster than live. Immediately. Instantly. You get the idea.
Blog like no one’s reading.
Words I’m going to try and stand by. Let’s see how it goes.
