With old man winter knocking on our door, it’s time to bundle up with lots of layers, knits, and glittery sequins for your upcoming holiday events. I had the lovely opportunity to stop by Cloakroom, a local boutique in Summerhill, to cozy up with their knits and gorgeous outerwear and had a lot of fun styling holiday outfits.
Founded by two sisters with a love for fashion, Meira and Tamara opened Cloakroom back in September 2012, and haven’t looked back since. With a goal of trying to fill their shelves with unique items, they do most of their buying overseas (L.A. and Australia to name a few), bringing international and creative flair to the streets of Toronto. I personally love this because I’m a huge fan of discovering new talented artists/designers and this boutique has it all in one place!
One of my favourite things to do during the winter is to play with layers, and I had a blast trying on a few of my favourite pieces from the boutique.
Because every girl needs a piece of Ladakh Stormy Monday Fur in their closet!
Loved the structuring and leather panel detailing by SuperTrash.

In addition to all the craziness that goes down during the holidays, picking out what to wear shouldn’t be one of them! Below are some of my favourite looks and pieces I styled that will hopefully help and inspire you on your next festive soiree.
Throw one of these one over your little black dress, and instantly glamify your outfit!

Shopping the racks of Cloakroom is a bit of a treasure hunt. You’ll never know what gem you’re going to land on next! They often bring in new pieces every few weeks, so the selection changes every time you visit.
I’m also excited to share that for the month of December, I will be Cloakroom‘s guest blogger on Pinterest, pinning all things that personally inspire me and hopefully will inspire you too! Follow along for DIY gift ideas, sequins, sparkles and vacation escapes.
