As a result of having too much fun this summer, I’ve left my blog a bit neglected… but I’m happy to say I’m back! After having a night of what seems of “life getting back to normal” (getting to work early, having an uber productive day of media lists and content calendars and hitting the gym), finally opening up the ol’ blog again to share some of the exciting news that’s been going on lately!
First and foremost …
Happy to share that I’ve been promoted! After two years of working at Edelman Toronto, my job title is now officially Senior Account Executive! It’s a bit surreal when I think about all of the amazing experiences I’ve had so far including being able to work on awesome clients and projects in areas that I’m truly passionate about. Some highlights so far include:
- Leading a full film and production crew of 30 around Toronto to film the grand finale of one of China’s most popular reality shows, “A Date with Luyu”. From organizing the entire trip in about 10 days for 15 days of full of activities to show what Toronto’s all about, the best part of it was probably flying over the Niagara Falls in a helicopter.
- Driving the creation of a successful digital program for an up and coming foodie brand, playing the role of a digital project manager. Working some under intense deadlines has shown me what our team is capable of, and more!
- Working through the madness of TIFF season in a fashion suite at one of the hottest hotels in town, styling celebrities and securing some serious media coverage. Seeing your work actually manifest on the red carpet.. there’s no really way to describe that feeling. There’s no other way to experience TIFF!
To celebrate our 2 year anniversary earlier this May with a few colleagues of mine who all started on the same day, here are some way overdue pics to share what a day in my office is like

Next up…
One of my pics was featured in the National Post under the Gastropost section! Every week, they challenge food lovers by asking them to take a snapshot of a specific theme. Turns out the pic of the Cucumber Sake-Tini I enjoyed at the Lai Wah Heen pop up dim sum bar was a fit for their column “Celebrate TIFF by Drinking Like a Movie Star” and they reached out for permission to publish the photo. It seems like a really fun initiative and a great way for foodies to share food as they discover it in real-time, and what a great opportunity to be featured in the paper! Looking forward to seeing more of this!

Finally…
I was approached by BlogTO at an event I recently attended to have my picture taken for their Street Style section. It was such an honour! I was a bit a-flutter when he was asking me my favourite item of my outfit, but if I could retract my statement, I would definitely say my leopard pants!
