Ready for My Close-up!

All in a day’s work! When you work in PR, there’s always an element of surprise! In April, I was asked by my colleagues (along with Sarah) to join in a fun video featuring Gloria from Urbanebloc, to promote the new Canon PowerShot N camera.

It was fun being an extra on a beautiful sunny afternoon. It certainly made me appreciate how many people it takes to put these types of video together. After multiple takes, it also made me really appreciate the art of acting! Gloria was such a natural on camera!

What an amazing example of how video can capture a story and bring it to life in ways that no other medium can. Storytelling and video content is something that we often talk about at work and something that we’re really trying to push out more and more with our clients in how we share their stories. With the right tools and technology, I’m excited to learn more about how to use more complex video programs to hopefully continue to tell my story as well through my blog; in hopes that one day, I’ll have an amazing story to tell like the 10-day journey around the world by Casey and Max.
